Béatrice Courtoy has been a lawyer and member of the Brussels Bar since 1984.
As an invited professor she has been teaching « Corporate Law » since 2000 at the Haute Ecole Francisco Ferrer (H.E.F.F.), as part of the Master’s course in Business Management, ten years previously she had been in charge of the Commercial Law course.
She has a law degree from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (U.L.B.) (with the highest honour). She also has a diploma of specialized studies in Business Law obtained from the U.L.B. (1987).
Béatrice Courtoy has a wide experience of the field of corporate law.
Most notably she practices commercial law including corporate law, contract law, and also real estate law (law on construction, co-ownership, leases – including commercial leases).
She has also been developing her activity in labour law.
Béatrice Courtoy advises both national and international companies. Her clients are mainly active in the industrial as well as the communications and real estate management sectors
Her professional legal activities, in addition to counselling, include assistance with the negotiation and the drafting of contracts. Béatrice Courtoy also assists her clients in court and at tribunals.
Her working languages are French, English and Dutch.
